Listen… I know you might be angry at this because it’s a tiny bit clickbaity. All I ask is to normalize calling NWSL Players, Stars. That’s all I ask.
Another one bites the dust I guess. Europe is sucking the NWSL dry of talent and if this “Pod” season actually does come true, I think they’ll have to end up playing 7v7 or something. There is a part of me that is really happy for all these stars going to temporarily play abroad in a country that didn’t treat COVID as a joke. I swear if the country prepared for COVID like Jane Campbell prepares for penalties, we’d be knee-deep by now in parties, concerts, and most importantly going to see live soccer matches.
Celtic get a real good one here. I have stan-ed Meg Crosson for all of a couple months now. And while I’m sad she didn’t get a fair shake in Houston, I know she’ll ball out in Scotland. That’s assuming she doesn’t develop a horrible Guinness addiction and Scottish Accent.
