So, unless you dislike soccer, you should already know about the drama that is ensuing in Paris, between Edinson Cavani, and Neymar. For those of you that don’t know, PSG spent a hilarious $263 million, 1 season after Manchester United spent, what at the time was the world record, $105 million on Paul Pogba. Now, Neymar is undoubtedly much better than Pogba, but $263 Million could’ve bought them multiple elite players. And bringing in Neymar was ultimately going to sway who the alpha dog in the locker room is, no matter where he went. It’s basically the main reason he left Barcelona. Standing in the shadows of the greatest player that ever lived, is never an ideal position for a player with GOAT like potential himself.

Anyway, Edinson has been the head honcho in Paris since Zlatan left 2 years ago. He finally was the alpha. “Yay free kicks for me!” “NOPE! we’d rather get Neymar and Mbappe, and file for Chapter 7, or 13, or 11, or whatever the fuck a company uses to declare bankruptcy, than have Edinson Cavani as our best player.” And listen, Cavani isn’t bad. Far from it. I’d take Cavani any day of the week. But when your team picks up the 3rd best player in the world, you don’t try and take HIS free kicks, or HIS penalties. Especially not if your missing them. Pathetic. Just because your not the best player in your country, doesn’t not mean you deserve to take all the set pieces.
