2019 US Soccer Recaps: USWNT, MLS, NWSL, USL, NCAA Soccer

When December rolls around every year, there are only 2 things that are really brought up at the dinner table, 1. College Football Bowl Season and 2. maxing out your credit cards on presents and booze. Unfortunately, this blog will be covering neither of those. And I really don’t care about why that university you didn’t go to got screwed in the College Football Rankings, so quit asking. No, instead, I write (poorly) to you, a year-end wrap-up of all our domestic soccer leagues.

You know, some people say to me, “STOP TRYING TO BLOG YOU UNFUNNY WORTHLESS PIECE OF GARBAGE.” But others might say, “You do realize that all the leagues have been done for at least a month now right?” And while this is true, I figure, better late then never, at least that’s what I tell my professors in school. So put on your best baby Yoda impression as you sit near the chimney trying to decipher whether or not what I am writing can be deemed as, “English.”

All leagues will have their own separate blog. Meaning there will be an NWSL blog with a max cap of 50,000 words. An MLS blog that was once considered a great blog but now, meh. A USL blog that apparently less than 10,000 people will read. Blogs that combine USWNT and USMNT where the WNT deserves more words but instead I’ll spend them on the MNT. And a blog covering Katie Meyer and the other NCAA champions.

There you have it, a plan for me to fumble the English language on 5 different blogs. A huge ask for someone this lazy. But laziness didn’t stop the designers that made the Chicago Fire logo, so laziness won’t stop me from writing those blogs (maybe). TBH after a 6-month break, you’d expect my writing to get better, WRONG. See yah.
