Alright, I think we can all agree that Salah’s 2017/18 was off the charts and probably deserved to win the Player of the year award. HOWEVA! This goal had absolutely NO RIGHT to be even nominated for goal of the year; let alone to win it. You can say what you like, but the facts are the facts, 1. Goals should automatically not count when scoring a goal against Cuco Martina. 2. Salah shoved the fuck out of Martina, probably should’ve been called a foul. 3. This goal couldn’t hold Pavards, nor Ronaldo’s, nor Bale’s goal’s jockstrap.
All I know is that the awards this year were a JOKE. I mean, starting the ceremony with Man’s Not Hot? Get the fuck out of my face. Imagine sitting in the board calling musicians to see if they could perform. “Okay the Rolling Stones said they all had to get their kidney stones removed this week, and Jay-z isn’t available either. Ayy, what about Seal? ‘Doctors appointment,’ Hmm, I have Big Shaq’s number, oh and Noel Gallagher. ‘I think that’ll be fine.” You gotta be shitting me. And let’s not even talk about Stringer Bell hurting his stock by being the worst host on planet earth. A. your not a footballer so stop joking around about it. B. your not a FOOTBALLER so stop dapping up the players like they should know you. We get it, you were one of televisions greatest villains, you died, move on. Also, it didn’t help that the jokes we’re GOD AWFUL! What was Larry the Cable Guy not available? Jesus, learn how to run an award show one time.
