MLS and Liga MX to join forces for Multiple “Events”

MLS- The strategic partnership, which brings together the nations of the United bid – Canada, Mexico and the United States – to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup at the club and league level, will focus on sharing best practices, prioritizing social responsibility efforts, and creating new competition to fuel the existing rivalry among countries on the field.

Yay!! I think I speak for most people when I say that this is a great move. Finally Don Garber uses that brain of his to actually put together something that will benefit both leagues. Both have agreed on having a North America Super Cup, where the MLS cup champions face the Mexican super cup champions, as well as including a MLS v Liga MX all star game. It gives fans the opportunity to see which league has the better talent, putting an end to all MLS v Liga MX debate. Although let’s be honest, nobody really tries in these games so it won’t really mean much.

At the very least, we have a strong partnership between both leagues. In the effort of saving countries billions of dollars to host the World Cup, the US-Canada-Mex bid is really make a push to host. Let’s look at the steps they’ve took already.

Step 1: Bring in Mexican players that people will love, even though they’re all bark and no bite.

Step Dos: Help Canada get a trophy to cover up their failures of winning a Stanley Cup.

Step III: Throw Landon Donovan on the bench of some random team, and call it “integration of the leagues.”

Step D: Get a shit ton of money by creating a “North American All-star game,” but really field the A- All stars.

Step C: Lose out to Turkey for the rights to host the World Cup.

Project. ‘Almost get the World Cup,’ is a go everybody and I just can’t wait for the close race. I guess Trump isn’t as dumb as I thought. A they don’t have to spend billions on brand new stadiums (mostly because they already spent them). B they will get airlines and airports a ton of money with travel fares spent through the 3 countries. C he can tax each team for bringing in extra belongings like, “an extra band aid,” or the ‘game ball.’ Oh 2026 you why can’t you come any faster.

P.s. Liga MX is going to trash MLS. Probably by at least 4 goals.
