The Guardian- Philippe Coutinho has completed his move from Liverpool to Barcelona – but will not be able to make his debut for three weeks because of injury. Coutinho signed a five-and-a-half-year contract with Barça on Monday to finalize a transfer that could be worth up to £142m to Liverpool.
“Tenim un nom el sap tothom, Barça, Barça, Baaarça!!!” For you uncultured swines, this directly translates to, “Madrid can go ahead and (fill in the blank) off.” First off, congratulations to Barcelona for their La Liga championship. Being 16 points up on Madrid in January is nothing short of a miracle, considering they went from Messi, Suarez, Neymar, to Messi, Alcacer, and Deulofeu, for a while.
Our other congrats are to Jurgen Klopp. Now, I know what you’re thinking, “WTF am I doing reading this shitty ass blog?” But you also are thinking, “Why on earth is this fool congratulating Jurgen Klopp?” Well, it’s simple you see, the only thing on Klopp’s mind right now is surviving another season. He has zero chance of winning the League, and they’re out of the fake ass EFL Cup. And even though they got a lucky ass draw with Porto in the UCL, does any honestly believe this team can compete with the Barca’s and Juventus of the world? It is bad enough Manchester City bent them over and laid a 5-0 spanking on them in September. All Klopp can hope for is the FA cup, and even so, they could easily draw a top-tier team in the draw later today.
Anywho, Coutinho adds that superstar factor that Dembele just didn’t offer. He is yet to score a goal with the Blaugrana and has not looked even close to that $125 million dollar price tag. Especially not after that pathetic introduction to the fans.
So, Philippe Coutinho has finally been presented as a Barcelona player.
This is the perfect time for us to remember a few occasions when footballers couldn't do keepy ups at their presentations. Here's Ousmane Dembélé proving that £135m doesn't buy you an awful lot these days. pic.twitter.com/ERuCoWKrCg

I wish Barcelona all the success, with Coutinho. It is important to note the dumb ass rule that UEFA about a player only being able to play for one team in the competition Meaning, Coutinho will not be on the Barcelona squads even if they move past Chelsea. Also, Coutinho is coming in with an injury so he’ll be out for a couple of weeks, just enough for Dembele or Deulofeu to try and prove themselves, which really doesn’t matter so long as Coutinho is healthy.
For now, let’s watch the FA Cup draw which if I’m not mistaken will be streamed on Youtube by FATV. And in case you missed it, we were blessed to have been serenaded by Mr. Ray Hudson just prior to the Barcelona vs Levante.

Back to a cold, wet night in Stoke 🎼ICYMI – @RayHudson welcomes @Phil_Coutinho back to @LaLigaEN through the medium of song. 🤣 pic.twitter.com/EC3FwYyZGm
