Oh yes, the Liga MX final was indeed LIT. It had everything you could possibly want in a finals match.
A historic team that hasn’t won in 11 years (21 seasons) and came in as the underdog √
A powerhouse that has won 2 of the last 4 championships √
2 legged games with high drama endings to each game √
Fights, poor refereeing, dirty fouls, awful opinions, a frenchman √ x5

Look, I’ll be honest, having watched almost all Guadalajara’s games, I thought there was no chance in hell that they would make a final, let alone beat a Tigres squad that won all their playoff games by a total of 9-1. Add to that, Chivas winning 1 game of their last 10, and you have a disaster waiting to happen. Tigres were supposed to win, given the implication. And Chivas fans would be let off with yet another title-less season.
But god had a different plan. He struck Tigres with a lighting bolt full of pettiness and concussed them in the process. Yes they almost beat it out with a not called penalty, but if my aunt had nuts, she’d be my uncle. Point being, it wasn’t called, and wasn’t Chivas call to make, so anyone that takes away from the win are complete morons looking for headlines. All that being said, Tigres should big time sore loser-ness. Especially after the game, when not only did they seek to fight Chivas players, but also cried about getting their 2nd place trophies. In fact, Moussiere Gignac acted like a baby back bitch by not even going to 2nd place ceremony and leaving his team behind. Below are some of the memorable highlights of the game, and never forget that Chivas is the champs of the Mexico at least until December. Suck it haters, we got la DOCE!
